The Town of Surfside Beach invites residents and visitors to bring their family and friends for two fun-filled days of food, music, and family-friendly entertainment at the annual Surfside Beach BBQ Festival, happening Friday, March 6, and Saturday, March 7, 2026. Admission is free for both days.
Known as The Family Beach, Surfside Beach will once again serve up friendly competition, delicious barbecue, live music, shopping, and activities for all ages.
Friday, March 6
“Anything But BBQ”
4 - 7 p.m.
Location: Yaupon Parking Lot
Kick off the weekend as BBQ competitors showcase their creativity by cooking anything but barbecue. Families are encouraged to come out, enjoy dinner from participating teams, and spend a relaxing evening by the beach.
Saturday, March 7
BBQ Festival Day
10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
BBQ Competition judging will take place on the main stage from noon to 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 7, 2026.
Festival highlights include:
- BBQ Competition (Judging at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the main stage near Ocean Blvd.)
- Barbecue Food Trucks
- Festival Food & Vendors
- Arts & Crafts Vendors
- Kids Zone – New This Year! A live DJ, games, bumper cars, and a Foam Zone
- Foam Zone hours: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Two Stages of Live Entertainment
- Free Shuttle Service provided by Grand Palms Resort to all Town of Surfside Beach parking lots
Live Entertainment Schedule:
- 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Nor'Eastah
- 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.: Too Much Sylvia
Things to Know
- The pickleball and tennis courts will be closed on Saturday, March 7, for the festival.
- Bring a chair and relax while enjoying live music.
- Parking on side streets is permitted only on one side of the road. Please do not block roadways or resident driveways.
