Ring in the New Year with Fireworks Over the Atlantic Ocean

Downtown Myrtle Beach Fireworks - 9 p.m.

Everyone is invited to welcome the New Year with a spectacular fireworks display on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31, at 9 PM. The skies above downtown Myrtle Beach will light up as fireworks launch from the iconic 2nd Avenue Pier, creating a dazzling celebration over the Atlantic Ocean. The show offers a festive and family-friendly way to ring in the New Year before midnight.

Spectators can enjoy unobstructed views from anywhere along the city’s scenic 1.2-mile Boardwalk, making downtown Myrtle Beach the perfect place to gather and celebrate the start of 2026.

“We’re excited to close out the year by bringing the community together for a memorable New Year’s Eve celebration,” said Jason Greene, Chief Executive Officer of the MBDA. “Fireworks over the ocean are a beautiful way to reflect on the past year and look ahead to what’s next.”

This special New Year’s Eve fireworks display is made possible thanks to the continued support of the Oceanfront Merchants Association (OMA), whose partnership helps elevate the overall experience in downtown Myrtle Beach.

Please note: All firework displays are weather permitting.

Downtown Myrtle Beach is a premier destination for community events, dining, shopping, and connecting. For more information about the concert series and upcoming events, please visit the MBDA website at www.mbdowntown.com/events.
