As if living in the "Golf Capital of the World" isn't fantastic enough, Grand Strand residents also have the opportunity to meet top golf pros and celebrities at the PGA Tour's ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic, May 6-10 at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club in Myrtle Beach.
The dual-field event, now in its third year, is attracting some top golf pros and rising players for the PGA TOUR's competion, which stars on Thursday, May 7.
A full field of 120 players will be annouced soon, meanwhile, confirmed players include:
- Webb Simpson, from Raleigh, N.C., claimed the 2012 U.S. Open
- Danny Willett, from England, won the 2016 Masters Tournament
- Brandt Snedeker, a nine-time winner on the PGA TOUR, and captain of the U.S. team for the Presidents Cup in 2026
- Harry Higgs, who was a runner-up last year after losing to Ryan Fox in a three-way playoff
- Blades Brown, finished T26 in 2024 as a 16-year-old amateur (From Nashville and still a teenager, he is in his second year as a professional golfer.)
- Twin brothers Nicolai and Rasmus Hojgaard, 25, of Denmark (Nicolai may still earn his way into the Truist Championship, ranked No. 36 in the World Golf Rankings with four professional wins, while Rasmus, currently ranked at No. 59, has five professional wins.
Celebrities to Shine at the Pro-Am
As previously announced, Academy Award-winning actor Kurt Russell, tennis legend John McEnroe, North Myrtle Beach native and Wheel of Fortune icon Vanna White are among the confirmed celebrities to participate in the Wednesday Pro‑Am

The event is open to the public from May 6-10 (Wednesday through Sunday), with ticket options starting at $65 for Thursday and Sunday rounds, $71 for Friday and Saturday rounds, and $44 for Wednesday’s Celebrity Pro-Am. Both daily and weekly general admission tickets are available.
Children 15-and-under will again be admitted free with an adult ticketholder, while military and first responders will have access to two free tickets for Wednesday’s Celebrity Pro-Am, and discounted tickets for all four official tournament rounds.
