The Celebrate Wellness Hospitality Open will make its local debut on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at Barefoot Resort’s Norman Course, bringing together local businesses, community members, and golfers for a day of friendly competition in support of an important cause: Better mental health for hospitality workers along the Grand Strand.
Presented by Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach, and La Vida Hospitality, owners of Crooked Hammock Brewery and Big Chill Island House, the tournament blends golf, community, and giving back. Proceeds directly fund free counseling services for hospitality workers, from line cooks and servers to bartenders and managers, provided by the nonprofit organization Celebrate Wellness Foundation.
Founded by La Vida Hospitality, Celebrate Wellness is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the mental health and well-being of hospitality workers across the markets it serves. While the initiative first began in Delaware, this year’s inaugural Myrtle Beach event marks a major step in expanding access to mental health resources for hospitality professionals in new communities. In 2024, Celebrate Wellness provided 168 hours of free professional therapy to restaurant workers in need and responded to nearly 70 requests for support. Funds raised from this year’s golf tournament will continue that work right here on the Grand Strand.

Prizes & Raffles: Golf rounds at area courses, restaurant gift cards, and a one-year Freedom Boat Club membership valued at $13,000 for the Hole-in-One winner.
