Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach’s premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination, is kicking off the 2026 season with a wave of new merchants including a world-class distillery and craft brewery, new boutiques and fresh seafood.

Ole Smoky Distillery, the leading distiller of premium moonshine in the world, and Yee-Haw Brewing Co., known for its vibrant craft beer experience, plan to open their shared location at Broadway at the Beach later this spring.

This will mark the second joint location for the two brands and will feature a beer garden, full-service distillery, tasting rooms, guided tours, food and beverage offerings, and event spaces designed to host concerts, festivals and private events. Visitors can expect a one-of-a-kind indoor and outdoor experience.

Several new merchants are already open and welcoming guests.

  • The Slime Kitchen, now open in the Charleston Boardwalk area, is a hands-on play and innovation experience specializing in crafting high-quality, non-toxic slimes for visitors of all ages.
  • Sand Cloud in the Key West Village offers sand-resistant Turkish cotton towels, bedding and apparel designed with sustainability in mind, with 10 percent of profits going toward protecting oceans and marine life.
  • Grumpy Gatorz, located across from Margaritaville in Heroes Harbor, is a coastal-themed gift shop celebrating the spirit of the South Carolina coast through apparel, souvenirs and beach-inspired merchandise.

Additional merchants are set to open in the coming weeks.

  • The Cloak and Wand, a family-friendly immersive retail store and potion bar
  • Alice’s Haunted Little Bookshop, a unique bookshop featuring strange and forgotten books along with Victorian items, gifts and more
  • Duckmania, where visitors will find all things rubber duckie
  • Imagination, an educational store featuring toys, games and gifts

Later in the season, a new restaurant, Big Fish, plans to open in the New England Fishing Village area and will feature fresh seafood dishes and other specialty menu items, along with a large outdoor space for seating overlooking Lake Broadway.

“We’re excited to introduce these new merchants and continue to enhance the incredible lineup of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences at Broadway at the Beach,” said Melissa Armstrong, marketing director at Burroughs & Chapin, parent company of Broadway at the Beach. “As the season gets underway, we look forward to creating even more memorable experiences for our guests to enjoy with family and friends.”
