Tee It Up For The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic This May

Just in time for spring to start heating up the Grand Strand coastline, the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is set for May 7-10, 2026, at the unmistakably gorgeous Dunes Golf and Beach Club. It's the third year of this world-class, award-winning PGA TOUR event, one of 36 events on the FedEx Cup season schedule for 2026.

The fan experience at the Classic is intentionally laid-back and unmistakably coastal, blending the excitement of PGA TOUR golf with the charm of The Beach. Ocean views frame parts of the course, while savory Southern food and local flavors abound. Playful touches like the beloved “Hush Y’all” quiet paddles and sand-bucket tee boxes lean into the setting, reinforcing that "The Golf Capital of the World" isn’t a stuffy golf environment.

The majestic Dunes Golf and Beach Club pairs classic Lowcountry beauty with natural drama, where towering pines, rolling dunes and ocean breezes share the landscape with the occasional alligator quietly reminding players and fans.

Music concerts add another layer of entertainment beyond the fairways, and when combined with dedicated kids’ activities and family-friendly zones, the event becomes as much a beachside festival as a golf tournament.

“The Myrtle Beach Classic is something the entire Grand Strand can rally around, and it reinforces that we’re not just a great place to visit, but a place capable of hosting world-class events that benefit the whole community,” said Stuart Butler, President, Visit Myrtle Beach. “From economic impact and supporting local charities and businesses, to placing Myrtle Beach on the national stage, this event continues to be a major win for our entire region."

Celebrities & Pros Chip In

If you missed last year's Classic, Wednesday's Celebrity Pro-Am was a star-studded event that included Kevin Costner, Kurt Russell, Vanna White, Rob Riggle and Bill Murray to name a few.

Spectators also stood in amazement during the final moments of the 2025 tournament to watch the dramatic clutch chip-in win by rising star Ryan Fox in a three-way playoff. Fox’s dramatic victory was his first PGA Tour title and shortly after, Fox added another win at the 2025 RBC Canadian Open, again in a playoff.

Chris Gotterup won the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic in 2024 and has since become more known on TOUR and in majors with high finishes.

Blades Brown’s appearances in both Myrtle Beach Classic events have highlighted just how rare his early success has been. He first competed in the event in 2024 at just 16 years old, earning a sponsor exemption and returned in 2025 with more experience and confidence, still one of the youngest players in the field. Now only 18, Brown is competing professionally with PGA TOUR status and sponsor exemptions.

“In just two short years, the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic has truly made a name for itself on the PGA TOUR,” said Darren Nelson, tournament director. “We are proud of the identity and the momentum the tournament has built in such a short time.”

Hospitality Experiences Abound

Those looking for an upgraded experience will have three shared hospitality options to choose from in Carolina Club, Live Oaks Lounge, and the Clubhouse Lounge.

Carolina Club, located to the left of the 18th green, will provide prime views of the finishing hole and secondary views of the 10th hole. Live Oaks Lounge, located behind the 17th tee, will showcase 360-degree golf views, with site lines to holes 17, 16, 11, and 18. Both Carolina Club and Live Oaks Lounge will include covered seating, tv’s, upgraded restrooms, and food and beverage included in the ticket price.

The Clubhouse Lounge is the only ticket that allows access inside the Dunes Golf and Beach Club clubhouse and offers food and beverages for purchase. The climate-controlled Clubhouse Lounge will provide tabled seating and access to indoor restrooms.

Volunteer For Added Benefits

If you’d like to get involved with the event as a volunteer, registration is now open at MyrtleBeachClassic.com

Volunteers aged 18 and older can assist with the tournament in a variety of ways such as gallery management, competition support, hospitality, operations, tournament services, players services, volunteer services, shuttles and more.

Volunteers enjoy a full inside-the-ropes experience, receiving a tournament credential that provides access to the event even when they’re not on shift, putting them close to PGA TOUR action all week.

Plus, get outfitted in official volunteer apparel. As part of the required volunteer package, which the $100 fee covers, each volunteer receives official apparel and their tournament credential.

The fee also includes meals and refreshments with the Volunteer Care Cart delivering snacks, drinks and lunches out on the course throughout the day.

Choose from dozens of committees tailored to your interest level. Most committees are open to volunteers 18+, and Standard Bearers welcome youth ages 13–24, giving students a rare chance to experience a professional tournament from inside the ropes.

Volunteers commit to at least 18 hours, with committees offering shifts throughout tournament week so participants can build a schedule that works for them.

Roles fill quickly across high‑demand committees. Register now at MyrtleBeachClassic.com/volunteer to secure your preferred position—and enjoy the perks that come with being part of a PGA TOUR event.
